People across the Hudson Valley are answering Texas' call for help by donating blood.
State Sen. Terrance Murphy hosted a blood drive at the New Castle Town Hall in Chappaqua Wednesday.
Portions of the blood that's being collected will be shared with hospitals in Texas. Officials say that just one pint of blood can save three lives.
Donors tell News 12 it is the least they can do to help flood victims.
