According to the 2022 County Health Rankings, data ranks length of life in Putnam County as No. 2 in the state. Westchester County ranks fourth while Rockland County ranks seventh.
For quality of life, Putnam County earned second-best county of New York. Rockland County is fourth best and Westchester ranks ninth.
The information is based on data collected from 2018 to 2020.
