A police chase on the Taconic State Parkway turned into a manhunt in Chappaqua.
Sources say the high-speed chase ended near Camp Fire Road Saturday afternoon. Witnesses say they believe the suspect stopped his car right off the parkway, then possibly fled on foot.
The suspect is wanted in connection with an out-of-state burglary. He is described as standing at 5 feet 8 inches, and was wearing a black T-shirt and camouflage shorts at the time of the chase.
State police were leading the search with assistance from the New Castle and Westchester County police. New Castle police say they were pulled off the search when the suspect was believed to have left the area.
Officials advised residents to stay inside and lock their doors.
Police are asking anyone that may have seen the suspect or has information on him to call Westchester County police or 911.
