A heated exchange between the Pomona Village mayor and a concerned resident was caught on camera.

It happened at a November village board meeting.
Seemingly aggressive behavior from Mayor Ian Banks was seen during an open forum that allows residents an opportunity to voice their concerns.

News 12 was told from the village of Pomona that board meetings focus on various needs and issues such as parks, permits and budgeting.

News 12 showed village residents the videos, and they say behavior like this is unacceptable, especially from an elected official.
News 12 reached out to the village of Pomona, but it declined to give any comment on the incident.
Sources say that the heated exchange allegedly began when a resident discussed the mayor's denied building request and accusations of immoral behavior. Arguments continued, even with board members.
