News 12 has learned that hours after Florida businessman Ben Novack Jr. was found dead in a Rye Brook hotel, his wife returned home and got into a heated confrontation with her daughter.

A News 12 investigation of the Novack family's lifestyle in Fort Lauderdale has already revealed that Narcy Novack, the slain businessman's wife, failed a lie detector test administered by the New York State Police.

Sources tell News 12 that Fort Lauderdale police were called in to defuse the argument between Narcy Novack and her daughter Mae, who is of no relation to Ben Novack Jr.
