Here are some stories that are making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
One person is recovering with injuries that are not life-threatening after a stabbing in Yonkers. Police are still looking for whoever stabbed the victim in the arm on Highland Avenue at South Broadway early Monday morning.
The driver of a tractor-trailer is in critical condition after hitting a sign support structure on I-84 in Orange County Monday morning. The impact caused a massive mess and an even bigger slow down at the mile marker just outside Wallkill around 5:30 a.m. The truck driver was taken to Garnet Hospital.
Ulster County police are investigating a shooting at a short-term rental house over the weekend. An estimated 40 people were at that party in the town of Saugerties on Fish Creek Road. No one was hurt, but nine shell casings were found, and someone's car was hit with at least three bullets.
