Police say they recovered five semi-automatic weapons during a search they conducted while investigating a past assault. A teen is now charged with attempted assault and multiple counts of weapons possession.

A 24-year-old Yorktown resident is facing charges for allegedly touching a 16-year-old inappropriately. Police say the suspect, a gas station attendant at the Xtra Fuel station on Commerce Street, touched the victim several times without permission while she was purchasing gas. The attendant has been charged with forcibly touching and endangering the welfare of a child.

Well known Duchess Count community activist Frank Flowers was arrested by Connecticut state police after he failed to appear in court on domestic violence charges. Flowers was arrested by Town of Poughkeepsie police and extradited to Connecticut. Police say he was wanted on multiple felony charged in two alleged domestic violence incidents in January and July.
