Here are some of the stories making headlines this Friday across the Hudson Valley.
Police say a 13-year-old girl was struck while crossing the street in Nyack. It happened Thursday on South Highland Avenue. The child was rushed to a nearby hospital and is expected to be OK. Orangetown police are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to give them a call.
Two officers and a bystander were injured after a crash in Yonkers. It's not clear exactly what happened, however, police say the man they were chasing was arrested in a wooded area right off of the Saw Mill River Parkway near the Stratton Street exit.
A 24-year-old faces serious charges in a burglary in Spring Valley earlier this month. Police say Daniel Pulla-Pilco broke the front door to Oasis bar on Furman Place by throwing a rock. Several items were taken. He now faces felony burglary and other charges.
