Police are asking for help in finding a New Rochelle man wanted in connection to a 2022 deadly shooting. New Rochelle police say Mtayari Dixon killed James Caldwell Jr., who is also known as rapper Boogie. Anyone with information is asked to call New Rochelle police.
Three men are facing grand larceny and conspiracy charges after police say they stole thousands of dollars' worth of items from an Ulta beauty store in the Town of Ulster. Authorities say Josmar Paulino, Fernandez Milton and Leybi Payano were arrested after three separate incidents within just four hours, totaling $12,000 of stolen merchandise. Police say a total of 11 people, including four juveniles, are facing charges but only released the mug shots and names of these three suspects. Two were released on appearance tickets. Milton was remanded to Ulster County Jail without bail.
Seven Rockland County residents are accused of selling drugs including cocaine, fentanyl and prescription pills. The arrests were made as part of "Operation Clean Streets" -- a monthlong investigation in Spring Valley, Clarkstown and Haverstraw.
