He grabbed the friend's puppy and threw it onto oncoming traffic on Yonkers Avenue, where it was struck and killed by a car.
Police say a man was stabbed in the shoulder during a dispute with his girlfriend in Yonkers Thursday evening. The woman faces felony assault charges.
Police say a female pedestrian was struck in the Town of Clarkstown on Thursday night. They say it happened on Route 304 around 5:30 p.m. Officials say the woman was sent to Westchester Medical Center with severe injuries.
