A Yonkers library was closed Tuesday as HBO crew and cast members filmed a key scene in the upcoming "Show Me A Hero" miniseries.
The star-powered show focuses on how the city of Yonkers struggled through the housing desegregation battles of the late 1980s and early 90s.
The scenes were shot at the Will Library.
Jim Belushi and Winona Ryder are among the actors involved in the project.
While many are excited that the filming is taking place in Yonkers, others are not starstruck over the project.
Library clerk Stephanie Cavorti says many Italian-American families like her own are afraid of being portrayed as racists.
The show still has 22 days more of shooting throughout the city of Yonkers and is expected to hit the airwaves later this year.
