A church in Rockland County is joining the long list of Hudson Valley churches that are closing.
St. Mary's Roman Catholic church in Haverstraw held its last Mass Saturday evening.
It's all part of a parish merger plan being implemented by the Archdiocese of New York.
The Catholic church says it is struggling with finances, dwindling attendance and a lack of priests.
