While many only visit haunted houses during Halloween, some families say they share their home with ghosts year-round.
News 12 visited two different homes in Rockland County filled with eerie experiences.
The first one was a quaint Pomona log cabin filled with unexplained footsteps and claims of visits by a womanly ghost and a face etched into the wall.
If you think that's spooky, a home in Garnerville that's been around since the 18th century has so much paranormal activity it chased away tenants.
"Things would move, things would be hidden, closets would open, linens would come out, shades would move, so after five months they left and broke the lease…," says Robert Masiello, of Garnerville.
Masiello's haunted home even attracted a paranormal team with the Travel Channel. That investigation, called "Edge of the Veil," debuts Nov. 26 at 10 p.m.
