Several restaurants in Hartsdale are receiving some help to bounce back amid the coronavirus pandemic.

With assistance from police, the Department of Public Works and others, the town of Greenburgh is installing concrete barrier enclosed dining areas on Hartsdale Avenue.

Businesses like the Hartsdale House of Pizza and the Copper Kettle Cafe will now benefit from addition seating created by the barriers.

The initiative adds to other restaurants on the avenue, which already have sidewalk seating.

The seating is temporary to help with safety during the coronavirus pandemic, but owners plan to improve the area with decorating to improve the dining experience.
