Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that fitness facilities in the region will not be allowed to reopen for Phase 4, making some business owners upset as they struggle to make ends meet.
Club Pilates in Scarsdale is one of three locations in the region. The fitness facility hasn't seen any clients since March due to the pandemic.
Owner Heather Rhyu says she is frustrated with the governor's decision to keep gyms and fitness facilities closed while her bills continue to pile up. She says if she can't reopen in the next few weeks, her locations could risk going out business.
Rhyu says the facility has put new safety measures in place for when their doors do reopen, and that safety is their first priority.
