Cops are trying to find a group of people who they say robbed and assaulted a livery cab driver in the borough.
According to police, three men and a woman got into the back seat of the taxi in front of 1730 Andrews Ave. just after midnight on April 18. They say things got violent when the cabbie told them that only three passengers could sit in the back.
One of the suspects allegedly moved to the front passenger seat and punched the driver in the face. Investigators say that the victim then tried to run away from his own cab, but all three men started beating him.
The suspects, who were all caught on surveillance video, are also accused of taking money from the center console of the vehicle.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
