Group offers advice on how to respond to police
A group of law enforcement officers visited Mount Vernon High School to offer advice on how to respond when approached by police.
The group, called the Gunfighters MC, is a motorcycle club of current and retired police officers.
The group visited the school as part of its Safe Stop presentation, and comes after a national outcry after two white police officers in the U.S., one in Missouri and one in Staten Island, were not indicted for killing black men.
They say one thing teens can do, in addition to abiding by the law, is to make sure they have identification with them at all times.
Gunfighters MC started back in 2005.
The group serves New York City, Westchester and parts of Dutchess and Orange counties.
