Grill masters faced off Thursday night at the annual "Burger and Beer Blast" in Valhalla.
The yearly event, described by some as the "summer's best block party," is part of Westchester Magazine's Wine and Food Festival.
Dozens of restaurants and vendors from across the county sent representatives to flaunt their burgers. There were also food trucks and dessert booths for anyone interested in burger alternatives.
About 2,500 hundred people were expected to come out and enjoy the food, drink and entertainment at the Kensico Dam Plaza.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Westchester Parks Foundation and the Food Bank for Westchester.
For people who missed the party, a tasting event is scheduled at the same location Saturday.
