A classic R&B group that got its start in Westchester is being honored in its hometown.
Atlantic Starr, who had hits in the 1980s with "Secret Lovers" and “Always,” is having a street named after them in their hometown of Greenburgh.
Old Tarrytown Road, at the Hillside Avenue intersection, will now be known as "Atlantic Starr Way".
The band members say they are honored. "I'm extremely humbled that the town would even consider I mean I'm a resident here, I grew up here, I went through the school system here but it's an honor" says the band’s percussionist Jonathan Lewis.
