A 17-year-old boy from Greenburgh was shot to death Monday and his half-brother is accused in his murder.
Police say 28-year-old Quentin Lamar Pollard was living with Brian Leak and his family in their Beach Street home. Authorities say Pollard admitted during questioning that he shot Leak after they had an argument. Police say Pollard used a Russian model assault rifle to shoot his half-brother. Cops are investigating the gun?s origins. Leak's body was found by his mother inside their home.
Police say Leak had some run-ins with authorities, but had started a new chapter of his life and recently graduated from Woodlands High School. Pollard is now facing second-degree murder charges.
