Governor Andrew Cuomo calling out the U.S. attorney general regarding reports of sexual abuse of migrant children.
Following Thursday's deadline to unify families the Trump administration says they DID meet the court-ordered deadline to reunify migrant families separated at the U.S. Mexico border.
"It was gross incompetence and the Attorney General didn't tell the president of the United States that when you go to zero tolerance policy and you arrest parents, by federal law you have to separate the children,” says Gov. Cuomo. “If the Attorney General didn't tell the president that, then the Attorney General should be fired frankly."
Immigrant rights activists say more than 700 children still have not been reunited.
