Hudson Valley golfers got in their last swing Friday as golf courses in the state officially closed this morning as part of the effort to contain coronavirus.
Golf courses remained open because it's not a close-contact sport, but on Thursday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo Cuomo added golf courses to the list of nonessential businesses which forced them to close.
Westchester County left its courses open for one more additional day before ordering them to close. Putnam County announced the closure of all golf courses Saturday.
Golf courses will remained closed through next month.
