12h agoFamily, friends gathered at Annunciation Church today to say farewell to Lt. Robert Drain.
Drain served in the Yonkers Fire Department for 38 years. He was 74 years old.
"The fireman that he was, the family man that he was and especially the father that he was and just a great friend all around,” says retired fire Capt. Rudolph Sarro. “Someone to look up to, someone that everyone aspired to be like as a person and as a fireman.”
Drain is survived by his wife, four children, two stepchildren and three grandchildren.
