Funeral held for Montrose Marine killed in a car crash
Family and friends gathered Saturday to bid a sad farewell to a 23-year-old U.S. Marine. Montrose native Lance Corporal Sean Jackson was killed last weekend in an automobile accident in South Carolina.

Family and friends gathered Saturday to bid a sad farewell to a 23-year-old U.S. Marine. Montrose native Lance Corporal Sean Jackson was killed last weekend in an automobile accident in South Carolina. Friends say Jackson had it all, good looks, a loving family and a bright career ahead of him. They expressed shock and sadness over his death.Jackson?s family says the Hendrick Hudson High School graduate will always be in their hearts and minds. Jackson joined the marines in 2002 and was stationed at the Paris Island Marine Base in South Carolina.
