A special event was held this weekend in New Rochelle honoring the memory of a toddler whose life was cut short.
Gabriella Boyd was just two and a half years old when she was killed in Mamaroneck on April 28, 2018.
Her father, Stephen Boyd, joined family, friends and other members of the community Saturday for a fundraising gala in Gabriella's memory at Juliano’s. He says he's grateful to have so much support. "It means a lot to have everyone here and not only to just remember Gabriella and the short life that she did have, but also to support our foundation and make change.”
The gala marks the month of Gabriella's birth.
The money raised will be donated to charities that help bring awareness to the needs of the family court system.
