Family and friends gathered at a White Plains bar Sunday to celebrate the life of a Westchester County district attorney investigator who died after conducting a drug raid.

Stuart Cohen, 38, took part in a drug raid at a home on Lytton Avenue in Hartsdale in December, netting $6 million worth of heroin. Days later, he developed flu-like symptoms and fell into a coma, leading to his death. Doctors have been unable to determine the cause of the illness that tore the beloved family man away from his wife and two children.

More than 100 police officers paid tribute to Cohen at the Thirsty Turtle Bar Sunday where all money raised will go toward paying for his medical bills. The senior investigator's friends remember him as a man who loved life.

Although Cohen's cause of death has not been confirmed, authorities have labeled it as a death in the line of duty. Some people theorize Cohen was exposed to tainted heroin during the bust.
