Dozens of former children's hospital patients reunited for the 33rd annual "Celebration of Life" at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.
Most of the children who attended the celebration in Valhala once spent days, weeks or months in the hospital as Neonatal Intensive Care Unit patients.
The former patients and their parents joined in the celebration along with the nurses, doctors and staff that helped save their lives.
The celebration included face painting, music and ice cream.
