Forecast: Storm leaves behind dangerous black ice
A storm that brought snow, sleet, and rain to the Hudson Valley on Wednesday is not done affecting driving conditions in the area.
News 12 meteorologists say that widespread black ice could cause hazardous situations throughout the region today.
High temperatures will only reach around 31 degrees today and a 30 mph wind will make it feel like it is in the teens and lower 20s.
The cold temperatures, combined with lots of standing water after Wednesday's storm, has caused black ice in many spots.
The cold weather continues on Friday with highs around 35. There is a chance of snow late in the day but not much accumulation is expected.
This weekend will grow warmer with highs in the 40s, but clouds and rain will continue on Sunday
