A popular Briarcliff Manor restaurant is rebounding after a fire over the weekend.
The fire occurred Sunday at the Flames Bar and Grill on North State Road near Ryder Avenue.
Owner Nick Vulaj says the restaurant was evacuated shortly after midnight because a wall close to the stove caught fire.
Vulaj says he's thankful he was able to call the fire department as soon as possible.
The restaurant suffered minor damage to the dining room wall, which will be covered by insurance. No one was injured during the fire.
Flames Bar and Grill will remain closed this week, but the owner hopes to reopen by Friday.
