Fire crews responded Sunday afternoon to a three-alarm fire in the Village of Florida.

Officials say the fire broke out at 35 Jonah Circle.

News 12 spoke to the homeowner who was mowing his lawn when he smelled plastic burning and then saw smoke.

That is when he ran inside the house to get his wife who was in the kitchen.

There were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known as of Sunday evening.
