Female Yonkers cop accuses fireman of assault
A female police officer from Yonkers claims she was assaulted by a male firefighter at a bar, but the accused attacker denies it and says there is a videotape that will clear his name.Records show that 31-year-old Megan Hallinean says she was drinking at Patty J's bar on Main Street with Joseph Golusinski, who she had just met. She claims Golusinski attacked her and caused injuries to her forehead and knee. She was treated at St. John's Riverside Hospital and later released.Golusinski has a very different story. He says they were enjoying each other's company until there was an argument. He claims she punched him in the face and that he had no choice but to push her down when she came after him again. The incident was caught on tape, and he says what's on there will back up his story. Golusinski was arrested on Friday and charged with third-degree assault and second-degree harassment. He was released without bail and placed on desk duty while the case is investigated.
