FEMA recovery center opens in Stamford for victims of Ida

Representatives from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration helped people apply for disaster assistance and explain different programs.

Connecticut residents affected by Ida can now visit a FEMA disaster recovery center in Stamford.
It's located at the Harry Bennett Branch of the Ferguson Library on Vine Street.
Representatives from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration helped people apply for disaster assistance and explain different programs.
So far, FEMA has given out over $5.1 million to more than 2,000 applicants across the state.
Hours for the Stamford location are 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday – and closed Sunday.
