FDNY: Suspect arrested for vandalizing ambulances in the Bronx

Authorities say a suspect has been arrested for vandalizing multiple ambulances in the Bronx.
FDNY fire marshals arrested 22-year-old Karim Murdoch for allegedly vandalizing six ambulances at FDNY EMS Station 15 in Wakefield Saturday.
As News 12 has reported, the vehicles sustained broken windows and graffiti. Officials say that the damaged ambulances needed to pulled from service for repairs.
Authorities say Murdoch was seen in the vicinity, brought in for questioning and charged with two counts of criminal mischief.
“Vandalizing and damaging our ambulances shows disrespect to the dedicated men and women of FDNY EMS, and the public they bravely serve," FDNY Commissioner Daniel Nigro said in a statement. "This quick arrest is the result of outstanding investigative work by our fire marshals."
