Five people were injured Monday night after a fire ripped through the second floor of a two-story building in Bensonhurst.

A Citizen App video shows the smoldering scene along 78th Street. FDNY crews were able to get the flames under control by 7 p.m.

The FDNY says all five were taken to Maimonides Medical Center where three are in serious condition. Two firefighters had minor injuries.
