A father-daughter duo is fighting on the front lines of the coronavirus outbreak together.
Paramedic Raymond Florida and his daughter, registered nurse Tara Cullen, are at war with COVID-19. He's doing battle as executive director at Rockland County Paramedic Services. Cullen works at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern.
Workdays for both are tough and exhausting.
The pair speak often, encouraging each other to keep battling the pandemic, in these uncertain times.
"I had to go to her for medical advice to make sure I was doing the right thing in terms of infection control needed to protect our people," says Florida.
Cullen says she calls him everyday to make sure he's taking vitamins and getting lots of rest.
As the fight against the coronavirus crisis continues, this dedicated nurse has words of hope for us all.
"They can be sure that when their family member goes to the hospital they will receive the best care possible and they will not be alone," says Cullen.
