Fallen transformer, wires still left on Beekman property from Isaias

A Beekman resident says a transformer and wires have been lying on her lawn since Tropical Storm Isaias moved through the area Tuesday.
"If I have to leave, my friends have to come get me. I can't even touch my car. If I have anything in it, I can't get to it," said the resident.
She and the other NYSEG customers in the private community still do not have power because of the transformer.
Power is expected to be restored sometime Saturday, but residents say they have not seen crews in the area since Wednesday night.
A NYSEG spokesperson tells News 12 there are crews working on every circuit in Beekman and it's only a matter of time before this is resolved and power is back on.
