Clergy members are rallying against actions of hate one month after the deadly shooting at a church in Charleston, South Carolina.
The rally was held on the steps of the Grace Episcopal Church in White Plains on Friday. Faith leaders say that in the face of so much hate, it's time to start speaking out about justice and love.
"We can't be silenced in the face of bigotry and hatred," says the Rev. Tim Dalton. "Symbols, even though they are symbols, they have powerful meanings for so many people."
The church rally comes one day before a KKK rally to protest the removal of the Confederate flag at the South Carolina State House.
