12h agoThe Mohegan Fire Department battled a large brush fire in Cortlandt Sunday afternoon.
The fire, off of Sprout Brook Road, brought the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department, Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the Westchester Department of Emergency Services team to the scene.
It comes amid conditions in the region that have high brush fire potential, according to News 12’s Storm Watch team.
