DOROT, a nonprofit organization addressing the challenges of an aging population. Is looking for people for their package deliveries program.
They say it takes just one hour to deliver a package and connect with an older adult.
How it works:
1. Register at www.dorotusa.org/winter
2. Pick up one, two or three packages
3. Deliver the packages to a senior in Westchester
4. Connect with the seniors by phone for a friendly call
Pre-registration and valid U.S. government-issued photo ID are required. All volunteers must wear masks for the duration of the program.
