Elevator shooting suspect charged with 3rd crime
The suspect charged in the shooting deaths of two men inside a NYCHA elevator has now been linked to a third shooting on that same day.
According to police, Willie Stukes wounded a man in front of 3100 Park Ave. at around 12:30 a.m. Monday.
Just hours later, authorities say Stukes shot and killed 26-year-old Darryl Page and 23-year-old Tykquan Fennel inside the Morrisania Air Rights housing complex at the same location.
Stukes was arraigned Tuesday on second-degree murder charges for the double shooting, and is now facing an additional charge for attempted murder.
He's due back in court again on Friday.
