Officials say a Westchester high school was evacuated Monday after a bomb scare.
They say a threatening note was found in a boy's bathroom at Edgemont Junior-Senior High School, located on White Oak Lane in Greenburgh.
Greenburgh police say a student found the note on the floor of the bathroom that read, "There is a bomb."
Roughly 920 students, ranging from seventh-graders to high school seniors, and 78 staff members were forced to walk to nearby Seely Place Elementary School as a safety precaution.
Police cleared the school of any danger. Administrators applauded authorities and students despite what they called a stressful situation.
School is scheduled to resume Tuesday morning.
