The Eastchester Police Department shared their gratitude for the nurses on the front lines of this pandemic on Tuesday.
The officers thanked the brave women and men risking their own lives to help stop the spread of this virus and keep everyone safe.
The department posted a tribute on Instagram as National Nurses Week came to a close.
"I want to thank you for your dedication and courage during these difficult times...you guys truly are heroes. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Please stay safe," says Eastchester Police Lt. Jeff Hunter.
