Family and friends are mourning the loss of an Eastchester teen in a fatal car crash over the weekend.
Stephen Pisarz, 18, was on his way to party Saturday when he crashed into a telephone pole. According to authorities, speed seems to be the cause of the accident. Carmel police say Pisarz was thrown from his vehicle on Teakettle Spout Road in Mahopac. Pisarz later died at Westchester Medical Center.
An unidentified 18-year-old man from Mahopac also suffered minor injuries in the crash, but refused medical treatment. Pisarz?s funeral was held at Temple Israel in New Rochelle Monday.
