Firefighters rescued drivers involved in a head-on crash in Staatsburg.
It happened along Route 9 just south of Mills Cross Road.
Roosevelt Fire District crews say one driver was trapped after the vehicle ended up on a guard rail.
Drivers in both cars were rushed to the hospital but avoided serious injuries.
Route 9 was closed in both directions for about an hour. It has since reopened.
