The constant downpour caused major headaches for drivers in Yonkers Tuesday.
Two people got stuck after they drove into the flooded part of a parking lot off of Central Park Avenue. One of the drivers said she didn't realize how deep the water was until it started pouring into her car.
Two men witnessed the incident and called 911.
News 12 was told that both drivers were pulled from their vehicles by police and were not injured.  Both cars had to be towed.
Justin Riesling, of Yonkers, witnessed the scene and says he learned something when it comes to driving in the rain.
"Just slow down at first and if you see a lot of water coming up, just go find another exit," he said.
