A Spring Valley man faces DWI charges after police say he struck a utility pole and tree.
It happened early Sunday morning on Scotland Hill Road in Chestnut Ridge.
Ramapo police say the driver was traveling south on the roadway when he crossed the yellow line and continued off the road into the pole and tree.
He suffered minor injuries, according to police.
He was charged and released without bail.
