A beloved Orange County fire chief got a special drive-by celebration for his birthday this year.
Dozens of first responders drove through Middletown Monday with lights and sirens on for Mechnicstown Fire Chief Michael Palmer.
Palmer has been with the department for 15 years.
His friends say they wanted to do something special since the chief has done so many similar drive-bys for others in recent weeks.
