A double stabbing in a quiet Yonkers neighborhood has left two people in the hospital and three in jail.

Police say two men were stabbed on Palisade Avenue before 1 a.m. Tuesday. The victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. Three suspects, two adults and a youth, were arrested.

Investigators cordoned off the scene as they searched for evidence in the attack.

Longtime residents are shocked that their quiet neighborhood is turning more violent. "You're having fights, you're having stabbings," says Bruna Nistico. "I don't know if drinking is to blame, but it's unbelievable because it used to be so beautiful."
