Lawyers for the professional dominatrix at the center of a police sex scandal in Greenburgh have filed papers Thursday to begin a civil lawsuit against the town and several officers.
Gina Annenoel Pane is demanding $2 million in damages for an encounter in which Pane claims she was sexually harassed by police officers. The suit alleges Pane suffered physical and emotional trauma and accuses several officers of sexual harassment, witness intimidation and obstruction of justice.
Pane was arrested in January for DWI and possession of marijuana. She claims after officers discovered her profession she was harassed in her holding cell. Pane also says she had a sexual encounter with Officer Erik Ward the following day in exchange for his promise to have her charges dropped. Ward has been suspended without pay and charged with official misconduct.
