Dog goes missing following car accident on Palisades Parkway

A woman is searching for her dog after it got lost during a car accident on the Palisades Parkway on Sunday.
Joselyn Nivelo says her dog Sofia was in a car with her sitter when it happened.
She says Sofia ran away near exits 11 and 12 and hasn't been found since.
The dog is about 10 pounds and was wearing a Halloween outfit the day she ran away.
Nivelo says she is in the military and stationed in San Antonio. She hasn't been able to help her family look for Sofia but wanted to help in any way possible.
